BSE to live-trade from Hyderabad DR site June 22-23, mandates member reconfig

All trading members must add secondary DNS and configure DR parameters before June 22 market open or risk connectivity disruption across all segments.

22 Jun 2026 Effective June 22, 2026 Affects: All BSE trading members, especially leased line, BOLT TWS, and ETI users.

What changed

  • BSE schedules live trading from Hyderabad DR site for June 22-23, 2026, normal timings.
  • Leased line users must add secondary DNS 10.1.22.162 as one-time change.
  • BOLT TWS and ETI users must configure DR connection parameters per Annexure 1.

The read

This is a routine DR drill. But the stakes are real: BSE will run live trading from its Hyderabad DR site for two days across every major segment—Equity, Derivatives, Commodity, and Electronic Gold Receipts. Members who skip the required DNS and connection parameter changes risk being cut off from trading entirely. The one-time secondary DNS entry is the simplest to miss and the costliest, because with all segments moving to DR, a misconfiguration hits everything at once. The exchange is giving members until June 22 to get it right. Those who treat this like a dry run may find it anything but, and the price of complacency is a full trading day lost.
