BSE declares trading member SIC Stocks & Services as defaulter

The exchange pulled membership for rule violations. All authorized persons lose registration; directors face disqualification risk.

08 Jul 2026 Effective July 8, 2026 Affects: SIC Stocks & Services Pvt. Ltd., its directors (listed in Annexure 1), its authorized persons (Annexure 2), and clients dealing with the firm.

What changed

  • BSE declared SIC Stocks & Services Pvt. Ltd. defaulter effective July 8, 2026, across all segments.
  • All authorized persons affiliated with the firm can no longer deal; registrations withdrawn.
  • Directors during violation period may face disqualification under SCRR Rule 8.

The read

BSE pulled the plug on SIC Stocks & Services for repeated violations of exchange rules, bye-laws and capital market regulations. The trading member is now a defaulter across all segments as of July 8, 2026. Every authorised person tied to the firm loses their registration; directors during the violation period could be barred from holding similar roles elsewhere. For clients, services stop immediately — accounts must be moved. This is a single-member expulsion, not a systemic event, but the message to the broking community is clear: non-compliance costs you your licence.
